Why does PhotoDeDuper need Photos access?
PhotoDeDuper reads your Photos library to scan for near-duplicate images and creates albums to help you review them. It never modifies or deletes photos directly — you always make the final decision in the Photos app.
Does PhotoDeDuper send my photos anywhere?
No. All processing happens on your Mac using Apple's Vision framework. No data ever leaves your device. See the privacy policy for details.
How do I adjust what counts as a "duplicate"?
Open Settings and adjust the similarity threshold. Lower values match only very similar photos; higher values create broader groupings.
